NOK 400 million sale-leaseback of harbour area completed

19 June 2025

Andfjord Salmon Group AS (Andfjord Salmon) is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of the harbour area at the company’s Kvalnes site at Andøya, Norway.

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement dated 26 February 2025 regarding the potential sale- and leaseback of the harbour area at Andfjord Salmon’s Kvalnes site.

The harbour property has now been successfully de-merged from Andfjord Salmon, and all relevant agreements related to the sale- and leaseback have been executed. Andfjord Salmon further confirms the receipt of NOK 400 million in gross transaction proceeds.

With this, Asset Buyout Partners AS (“ABP”) has taken ownership of the harbour property which will be leased back to Andfjord Salmon on an 80-year contract at 7.5 % yield, adjusted for CPI.

“We are pleased to complete this transaction with ABP. The sale-leaseback is an integral part of our total financing package for the Kvalnes site, where salmon production is set to re-commence September this year”, says Martin Rasmussen, CEO of Andfjord Salmon.

William W. Wittusen, CEO of ABP, comments: “We are pleased to finalize the agreement to purchase Andfjord Salmon harbour facility at Andøya. The harbour facility is mission critical for Andfjord Salmon and will further contribute to diversify ABP’s portfolio in terms of geography, asset type and tenant exposure. The transaction is a result of our long-term focus on the Norwegian aqua industry and increases ABPs presence in Northern Norway, which is a strategic region for ABP going forward.”

Arctic Securities AS acted as financial advisor and Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS acted as legal advisor to Andfjord Salmon.
