Since 2018, Gro Skaar Knutsen has been managing director of PEAB Bjørn Bygg, one of northern Norway's biggest construction companies with a turnover of NOK 1.5 billion. Knutsen is educated as an engineer and has 30 years' experience in the industry.
“Andfjord Salmon's perspective on sustainability is very inspiring and exciting. I look forward to starting my duties on the board and am very motivated to contribute to building the world's most environmentally and fish-friendly salmon farming facility,” says Knutsen.
Knutsen was elected to the board at the extraordinary general meeting held on October 13, 2021, and her appointment is effective from the same date.

Andfjord Salmon has developed innovative solutions, which we have seen it is very attractive to take part in realising,” says board chairman Roger Brynjulf Mosand.
Following Ms Knutsen's appointment, the board of directors in Andfjord Salmon now consists of Roger Brynjulf Mosand (chairman), Roy Bernt Pettersen, Tore Traaseth, Knut Roald Holmøy, Kim Marius Strandenæs, Bettina Flatland and Gro Skaar Knutsen.
