Minister of Fisheries Tom Harald Nesvik has also been interviewed and states that he enjoys such projects as Andfjord Salmon. WWF's sustainable seafood advisor, Julie Døvle Johansen, was also interviewed. She says the plans are innovative.

"Pettersen believes the new facility will solve many of the problems farmed salmon are facing today.
- In winter time it is absolutely impossible for us to get neither algae nor salmon lice, because then we collect water at a depth of 160 meters. In April / May we change to the summer intake. It is thirty meters, and it is below where photosynthesis happens and salmon lice and dangerous algae live, says Pettersen. "
With regard to any concerns related to hydrogen sulphide, our comment is that this will not occur in our facility, where the water will be replaced 15-15 times a day. We also have very good technology for continuous cleaning of the pools.
