Andfjord Salmon is committed to the UN's sustainability goals

Andfjord Salmon has implemented the UN's sustainability goals in the company's business strategy. The work on these goals should be reported regularly.

Andfjord Salmon's vision is to develop aquaculture in a more sustainable direction. This also includes a conscious awareness with the fact that we manage a vulnerable common resource.

- We will take corporate social responsibility by integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) into all our decision-making processes. For Andfjord Salmon, our low footprint is strategically and commercially crucial, says Chairman Roy Bernt Pettersen.

Among the UN's sustainability goals includes Clean water (6), Innovation (9), Responsible production (12) and Climate action (13), to name some of those relevant to Andfjord Salmon.

The salmons living conditions in the pools is another important goal: Life below water (# 14).

- Andfjord Salmon will report regularly from our work with sustainability goals. By committing ourselves to the UN 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development, we will work purposefully for sustainable development and progress both for the planet and the region we are part of. We have great ambitions in the area of ​​sustainability, as well as delivering good financial results, says Pettersen.
