Chairman of the Board, Roy Bernt Pettersen, presenting Andfjord Salmon ™ at the Salmon on Land Conference. Watch the entire presentation here.
Andøya, Norway, 21th of September, 2020:
A digital version of the Salmon on Land Conference was held on Thursday and Friday this week. Minister of Fisheries, Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen, opened the conference, with over 30 participants on stage from home and abroad. Working Chairman of the Board, Roy Bernt Pettersen was among those who were invited to speak, in front of 300 attendees.
"Our main advantage is that we have the Gulf Stream close to land. No other country has the Gulf Stream this close to land. It turns to the left behind me here and pushes through and into the Andfjord. The Andfjord is our most important pump. Here, it passes naturally by, and we use the best advantage that we have. It is clean, fresh and full of oxygen. And last, but not least, it has tempered water throughout the year," Roy Bernt Pettersen explains.
