our uniquepatentedtechnology

Our goal was to build the world's most environmentally friendly and fish-friendly facility. And we've done that. Here, the salmon are completely secure and safe. The clean salt water flows in from the sea, with almost no use of additional power. And biomass is collected and reused. We call our technology natural flow.

No other place is closer to the life-giving Gulf Stream than the waters off Andøya. And it is this sea, off the world's second longest coast, that we have recreated on land. Our location secures endless access to tempered and oxygen-rich seawater.

Uses a closed flow-through system, which combines the benefits of both traditional and land based aquaculture while solving a number of traditional farming issues. The water is collected below the level where sea lice and poisonous algae lives. Combination of natural advantages and non-complex method equals low energy consumption.

WELFARE and growth

The salmon is thriving in the pool and growing rapidly. Our survival rate is industry-leading and independent reports confirm that both biology and fish health are excellent.

Collects biowaste

Biowaste is collected with a multi cleaning system and recycled and reused as a commercial resource.
