Founder and working chairman Roy Bernt Pettersen and CEO Martin Rasmussen showed the facility, and giving the Minister and his team a briefing on the company's unique technology.

"The ongoing development in several areas in Vesterålen at the moment, is very exciting. The fact that the top political leadership for the fishing industry is visiting Andfjord Salmon, is proof that we are in the process of creating sustainable and future-oriented technology in aquaculture. We are experiencing very strong support for our ambitious project, and it's very gratifying", Rasmussen says.

Andfjord Salmon raised NOK 150 million in a private placement last week, and is now speeding up plans for construction and development of the next phase. The company will now be listed on the Merkur list at the Oslo Stock Exchange.
