Pettersen has a new role – Mosand is new board chair

Roger Brynjulf Mosand has been elected chair of the board in Andfjord Salmon. Former working board chair Roy Bernt Pettersen will remain a board member.

23 April 2021 – Andfjord Salmon AS has today published its annual report for 2020.

I am pleased to say that the good progress at Kvalnes has continued subsequent to year-end. In line with our project plan, we have successfully installed the most time-critical and weather dependent installations. Hence, the most central building-blocks of our flow-through system are now connected to the surrounding ocean at Andøya, says Martin Rasmussen, CEO of Andfjord Salmon.

Roger Brynjulf Mosand is managing director of the aquaculture company Nordlaks Produkter, a position he has held since 2001. Mosand has led Nordlaks Produkter through a long period of strong growth and development.

“It's fantastic to see the first pool that's now being prepared for setting out fish later this year. The time has passed quickly since we first broke ground in June 2019. We are soon moving into a very exciting operational phase. The company has secured fantastic expertise on its board and in its management, and, not least, among the new employees,” says Pettersen, who has been chair of the board ever since the company was founded in 2014.

Andfjord Salmon AS has ambitions of building the world's most fish-friendly and environmentally friendly salmon production facility, with an annual production volume of 90,000 tonnes.
